Wishlings Official Launch!

Welcome to Wishlings!

Wishlings has been in the works for a little while now and today we finally launch the website! This has been a fantastic journey from concept, to creation, and through the patent process.

When I set out to create Wishlings I was driven by the idea of keeping kids healthier without disrupting birthday traditions. Today I’m significantly closer to seeing it through.

If you have not yet read the story of Wishlings, I can give a brief description of the product here:

When someone blows out their birthday candles, the amount of bacteria on the cake is increased significantly. As a dad, this bothered me, so I found a better way that still kept the magic of birthday wishes alive. Wishlings use food grade compressed CO2 (a fire extinguishing agent) to put out the birthday candles. The device is housed inside a fun toy that can be themed to match the birthday party, match someone’s hobbies/interests, or to be some sort of novelty. When the Wishling is squeezed the mechanism is activated and the extinguishing agent is expelled. The candles are safely blown out, without the transfer of bacteria, and the birthday wishes can still be made!

Now that the site is live I am actively searching for vendors who currently operate in the space in which my product will be released. My hope is to find a great company to partner with that will respect the dedication to quality, safety, and fun that is inherent in Wishlings’ DNA. The ideal partner would have licensing rights for Disney/Marvel/Star Wars characters, Nickelodeon characters, Looney Tunes characters, etc. to allow for a significant boost in initial sales through themed skins and designs. I would love to see Wishlings for sale at Party City, Walmart, grocery stores, Target, on Amazon, and any other place you might purchase a birthday cake or birthday party supplies.
